Our first double yolk egg

Roadrunner, our 5 1/2 month old EE laid an extra large egg a couple of days ago. After thinking about it for a while I started thinking that maybe we had our first two yolk egg. Sure enough, we cracked the egg for breakfast this morning and there was the double yolk staring back at us.

The kids thought it was the freakiest thing they had ever seen.

Very nice egg!! Looks delish. The day before christmas eve I got a huge egg from Fancy-pants my light brahma and it was my first Double yolker too! Everyone Gathered around to see me crack it into the pan and my son swore that was the best egg he had ever had

We've been getting eggs for about two months now. I'll say we have gotten 12 double yokers and my little girl loves to see them. It's a lot of fun.
