After a whole day of fishing (no salmon caught) and then dinner,
we came home to find that one of our D'uccle pullets
laid her first egg. Celeste was the lucky one to find it!

    Cute huh??

How old is your d'uccle? I have a mille fleur girl at 20 weeks and still no deal. Her comb and face have gotten big and red, but no egg. [IMG]

I love that sweet little egg! What kind of d'uccles do you have?

That's a pretty good size egg for being the first. I have had first eggs the size of marbles. Cute but didn't make a very big omolett. [IMG]
    Celeste looks pretty happy!
