Our first EGGS! (PIC) They really DO lay eggs!!!

I am a proud chicken Mama!!! We were so excited this morning to find out first egg!!!!

Our 20 week old Rhode Island Red laid an egg on the floor of the coop in the corner. My DH and kids found it. Later in the morning all the ladies were out grazing and Rona stayed home fixing her nest (in the corner) and laid ANOTHER egg! We couldn't believe it! I always wondered if I would be able to tell who laid the egg, but it was obvious today by the way she was acting.

Thank You! I thought it was pretty beautiful myself. I didn't realize it would be this much fun. Can't wait to go check the coop tomorrow and see what we have.
