Our Foster Puppy... UPDATE*post #26*

Pretty much, they just came out and asked me... I felt guilty, they were about to put her down and I couldn't let them do that. I'm so sick of ignorance becoming my burden, the puppy is sick and now I have to pay for some morons ignorance. I'm not a happy camper right now, it really is starting to seem like I'm the only one who gives a crap, a few months back I had to pay several $100 for some poor dog that someone intentally hit and my vet still made me pay out the butt knowing full and well it wasn't my dog and there were three other people there who helped me bring her in and not a single one offered to help me pay, and I'm sorry if you are driving a Lexus you should be able to help me pay for a dog you helped bring in, not just hit the door as soon as they ask for payment. My husband is in the militray we haven't recieved a pay-check in 20 days!!! I'm broke, the pay isnt that wonderful and now I have to shell out again. I assume it's my fault anyways for caring in the first place, I'll just go sit in the corner with my dunce cap on now.

Excuse my spelling, I'm not happy and don't really care if I mispell right now.

Have you tried worming her? I pray it isnt parvo, very expensive and heartbreaking if its gone on too long. distemper is also a possible.
I pray its only womrs causing her to vomit.

She is adorable - I "fostered" a puppy for two days about three weeks ago and she is still here and her name is nibs lol

I fostered 3 puppies for a weekend.

We had been fostering a 9 year old German Shepherd. Our SPCA had an overnight programme. I would pick up a dog after work each evening and return it before work each morning. We had been having this GSD for about 2 weeks and I got a call on a Friday asking if I could take 3 puppies because they couldn't stay in the kennel as there had been a parvo outbreak too recently. Of course I said yes, even though it meant that I couldn't bring Sabre the GSD home.

Well, by the end of the weekend my 4 year old daughter told me to take those puppies back and not to bother coming home unless I brought Sabre with me.

After 3 weeks of him coming home with me, three tearful goodbyes and three fallen through adoptions, I couldn't take anymore. I just had to keep him.

We had him until he was almost 14. He was truly the most wonderful dog I've ever had.

The good part about bringing home the puppies was I pretty much cured my kids of wanting one.

I really hope your little guy manages to be okay.

We ended up adopting Sabre

So Mochabelle is fine, she does have Coccidia and canine lice but is going to recover quickly since we caught it early and got her on meds.
