Hi Mitzi - she's a little of each. Her head and ears are turning chocolate but her body is more black. She started out the smallest but is now as large as Confetti, Jr, who is the largest/heaviest.

By the way, I just hung up talking to Cindy - she called to check on her babies' babies. She's going to disbud the girls for me next weekend and I'm getting a new buck from her so that I will have additional breeding material that isn't related to half my herd.

Oh...OK she really looks chocolate in the new pics.

That's great about the new buck!
I had talked to her this week, and she had told me about the buck...that's really good that you will now have an unrelated buck for your girls.

Is she going to your place to disbud or are you going to her place?

Mitzi

I think she will be coming here. Her in-laws live in St. Francisville and she said she owes them a visit and could make the short drive over here to disbud and bring the new buck.

She laughed when I said I couldn't bring myself to sell any and I would probably end up with a 100 goats all related - she could identify with that.

As far as No Spot - it's hard to tell about her coloring. She's not as black, black as One Spot and her head and ears are definitely a nice chocolate so I'm not sure if she's going to be a dark chocolate or would be considered "black". In any event, I think I've decided on a name for her - "Dawn Kay" because to me she looks like a little donkey - get it???

I'll come up with names for each of them as their personalities develop but I'm pretty sure I'll register her as "Dawn Kay".
