Our hen hatched out 8 babies.. What do i do?

mine never leave them, she calls them to her. i'm sure she would do the same thing

We made our hens little wire enclosures that sit up close to the house on the covered porch. We put a dog carrier inside for a nest that they sleep in. The wire cage has a top with hinges so I can get in there to give them water and food. Every couple days I move it out into a grassy area under the shady oak trees so they can run around during the day while I hose off the porch!

kasey, that is not the person who posted this topic.

If you want them to be friendly to people, I would take them, but if you want mama to be happy, then leave them with her.

Well... first thing you have to do is take pictures of them. I don't know how this thread has managed to get to page two with no pictures.

(then I vote for giving them back to mama hen).
