Oh wow! I wish everyone in commercial egg production would do as you have done!

They are truly experiencing life the way a chicken should.

That is just beautiful! I do have to ask, how do you get everyone in at night and make sure your not missing too many?

They all go in when it gets dark. The lights are still on in the barn and they just naturally go inside . I go out after dark, scan the pasture with a flashlight for any strays (there usually aren't any), and close the doors for the night.​

I know when I was a kid, probably into my 20s that's how I envisioned the egg industry...
