We use the hayloft of the old barn to put up hay for bedding/forage for the hens throughout the winter. The downstairs I just use for storage. It's a solid old barn though, all oak structure with a tile block base and silo. It needs a roof, new siding and some windows. It takes a lot of eggs to pay for that...
