Our home on fire

I posted a link to this thread in the California thread, so we could keep up to date on our neighbors. I'm really worried about all of you. I'm worried about where people will go and how long it's going to take to get through red tape and rebuild.

not to mention its a big area for people who own horses. i hope all the animals are okay

Just checking in. Winds are still horribly strong and there is no chance of getting any support from the air til they die down.

Hurricane force winds are happening right now. We are not going to get much moisture out of the storm coming down on us. They are saying they believe the fire started by a electric wire from a pole. We can't get any airplanes or helicopters out due to the winds. Around 9,500 people have been evacuated at this time. Livestock is being taken to evacuation areas and all small animals are allowed with their families in the shelters they said on the news. The winds should die down in about 3 hours and humidity levels will start to raise soon which will help with this fire.

The fire is less than 5 miles from my house and I can see it from my street.
