the styles differ and the breeds are often used for very different disciplines. many more stock horses and loads of x-racehorses’ make up the hunter (English) and the stock horses (QH-paint-appy) dominate the western sports. your horses are lovely and look very healthy, but its instantly known that they are GB horses to American folk

this was when we where showing and competing heavy every weekend and a couple of nights a week so they had to be top of the line my shammy very rarely got below third placing and boo was the same both got champion of there type shamrock was the best ridden coulored and best in hand coulored 4 years running and boo was the best show cob and best hunter 5 years running shammy only missed out the 5 year because he was lame with a sore frog due to bad muddy conditions we have just broken Majik and he i going well and are hoping to break TeeCee later this year for a sports horse for my sister the little pony midge is to be for my daughter she's 8 months now so when she is 2 he will be just right for her to learn on shammy is being ridden by a loverly lady as i havnt been able to ride since i had my daughter as there was complications and i cant ride until they say i can i miss it so much :'( but at least when i can ride again all the hard schooling will be over with Majik so i can just jump on and enjoy the ride

so why is it so obveious there English?

Beautiful horses! I love the paint and blanket appy!

I think the main thing that stands out to me is that your horses are much thicker int he legs than I'm used to here in the states. I love thick bodied horses and lately (especially in western!) too many people are breeding for big bodied horses on tooth pick legs.
