Our introduction to keeping chickens, the high's, the lows and pics of our journey.

Hi there! Someone JUST posted some Faverolles eggs on the auction thread!

My current faverolles are from her! She's on the other side of Michigan - got eggs mailed from her. Beautiful:). Super temperament too. I would definitely buy from her again.

G'day Ben

Your shirt was posted on wednesday from Sydney.

I want to throttle my wife's friend.

I just hope it fits
Cool, Oz, I was thinking about it yesterday actually. If it fits I will give it the West Australian tourist treatment and share the pics. :)

Our Fav's, Sal and Sav, are great natured birds...and our roo looks NOTHING like Pam's above. No wonder people keep saying to ready the pot lol Sal seems to resemble the stadard but Sav seems way off the US grade.
Incubating is addictive. Right Ben? Lol.
Hahahaha, too right it is! Good luck Lindz, hope you can find some to rasie or even hatch yourself. You will only borrow a 'bator once, after that you will be buyingor building your own lol

A couple if pics of the old phone from the weekend. I also got in a new PB time for an 18k run this morning, 1:26.21 was happy with that after a late night! Got to run along a real nice coastal foreshore in a beaut little town.

What beautiful pics! I'm longing for some warm weather. Remember at Christmas, the pic I posted looking over our deck and all the pretty snow? Same shot today, picnic table is the lump on the left...

It's not pretty anymore. Another month and maybe we'll start seeing signs of spring here. I'd love to see dirt, mud, anything other than white.

Lol - bug season for us isn't more than mosquitoes and flying fire ants in July and August. We live in an area surrounded by swamp so the mosquitoes are pretty awful - but I'm sure nothing compared to what you have there! Haven't seen a bug outdoors in sooooo long. I miss bugs.
