Thank you so much! I really appreciate your kind words. We have two roosting bars that go longways so both roosts are about 8ft long. I never understand when I go out there why they all huddle together at night and don’t utilize the space Thank you again! The lantern was $5 at goodwill and I just added solar fairy lights to the inside!

Ok here we are. So I called my father in law. He did all the bones of the project and I did all the detailing. The roof is not shingles but roofing paper. But still feels like shingles?? Here I have attached pictures of the inside and the laying boxes.

Don't see a lip on the entrance to the nesting boxes, might want to add simple 3" board so your lovelies don't kick out all bedding material you put in there to keep the eggs safe. And as always, poop boards under the roost make life so much better.

Very pretty!

Roosts might be too close together (you want at least 12", 14-16" would be even better to prevent picking) and too close to wall (you want at least 12"), but that's a very easy fix if it becomes necessary.

We just got finished with our little chicken coop! We are just finishing adding a top to the run to make it extra secure! I’ve attached all the little detail work I’ve done. This project was so fun and my girls love it!

Rolled roofing.....just like one big asphalt shingle.

Roosts might be too close together (you want at least 12", 14-16" would be even better to prevent picking) and too close to wall (you want at least 12"), but that's a very easy fix if it becomes necessary.

Wondered about that too.
But if you only have 7 birds now, you only need one 8' roost,
but I'd change it out to a 2x4 on edge or if wide side up support the middle.
