Our little chicken coop!

We just got finished with our little chicken coop! We are just finishing adding a top to the run to make it extra secure! I’ve attached all the little detail work I’ve done. This project was so fun and my girls love it!

It's darling! How much square footage is it? It looks a bit small for 13 birds unless they are bantams. Is that lath you used to secure the windows? If so that's a great idea! Good and strong with a nice pattern.
Be very careful about the bling you put on the lower corners of the coop. Birds love to peck at sparklies and will determinedly go after those. I had PBR surprise the hell out of me one day when she jumped up and deftly plucked a stud earring out of my ear. I never saw the earring again and she is still alive and well. But still...

Wondering the same......and about ventilation and that roof, is it waterproof?
What does the inside look like?

It’s waterproof. It has shingles on the top. And I no longer have 13 birds. We only have 7 now! When I go out there I will attach pictures of the inside and the laying boxes!

Its such a beautiful coop, I LOVE the pretty details you included, and the lantern light is DARLING! Our coop is 8x8, and we have 25 duel purpose hens, but more would be just fine, as long as we had enough roosts and ventilation installed. I would love to be a chicken in your setup! Congratulations on a beautiful start! SO FUN!
