With the first real freeze on the way next week, it's time to finish the duckhouse!

Thank you! They seem to approve of their house as well! We're still trying to decide whether to insulate or not, but for now, we're focused on getting the rest of the shakes up!

It looks well made so maybe insulation won't be necessary anyway, not many insulate their poultry houses because they don't need it as long as they have good ventilation up around the roof to remove the moisture that build up inside and they don't have to lay directly under drafts.

We still need to trim out the door, but we're almost winter-ready!
