I thought the babies were going to go in by themselves tonight, but they needed a little guidance. Last night I put them in through the main coop door! Today I caught them and made them go up the ramp into their door! Hopefully they will do better tomorrow night! They are doing great with the rest of the flock, they still aren't totally integrated, but getting closer!

Do you have a lot of rock around your area Rene? That can't be easy to work around (or through).

We have a ton of rock here Debby! We have learned to deal with it, my house sits on some boulders that were to big to move. Almost every time we need to dig we have rocks and sometimes we just have to move to a different spot, because they are too big! Also when digging holes, once we are past the rocks we get into black sand and it just sloughs back into the hole, so we wind up making the hole bigger than needed to get it to the depth we need! It's quite challenging and also very fatiguing!

That makes all your work even more impressive then!
