Oh I’m catching some flack lol. I’m just not doing all that for the five of us when we have to wait for my daughter to get home at like 1900 before we even eat.

That would make for a late Christmas dinner for sure. I'm usually asleep by that time on Christmas Day

Accommodating different schedules makes it harder...I would do the same in that case!

I tried something new yesterday. I didn't feel like taking the time to roll the crust out so I manually flattened the dough out right in the pie pan. Couldn't do that with the top crust since the filling was already in it so I used a cookie cutter to make the stars and just laid them on top. Sprinkled with some decorative sugar and that was it. Easy peasy!
