Good morning WhoDat! We've been down in the teens for the last several days & my rabbits seem to be doing fine. Rabbits tolerate cold weather better than excessive heat. That being said they have slowly acclimated to the colder weather, so I don't know if that means their fur might be thicker than your Bunny! I honestly think he will be okay, although maybe a little uncomfortable. Just make sure he has plenty of food as that will also help him to stay warm...especially if the pellets have alfalfa in them. I remember how hot my horse would get when he ate alfalfa hay in the winter compared to Timothy hay! I don't know if I was much help. If you're really worried, you could place him in a dog or cat carrier & bring him inside until it warms up.

I saw that you guys are supposed to get some more...is that correct? We have 5-6 inches and it's calling for a little more, but I don't think it will amount to much.

Hello everyone! I'm so excited to be here and have chickens in our lives again! I was trying to decide if I should wait until my new babies arrive or go ahead and get started with my thread! I have time, so here I am!

Our new chicks should arrive on Wednesday. That will give me time to get their Brooder set up! We ordered 16 chicks: 1 Buff Orpington Rooster & 4 hens, 2 Americana hens, 2 Midnight Majesty Maran hens, 3 Rhode Island Red hens, 1 Salmon Faverolle hen & 3 Welsummer hens.

We already have a chicken coop and pen area, but we are thinking about adding on to both as we used to keep Bantams and these babies will grow to need more room! My husband drew up the plans and built the coop! I will add some more pictures when our weather warms up a bit more, maybe on Tuesday!

I am picking up a crib for $30 in town tomorrow to use for a brooder, barring anything unforeseen happening! I will post pictures of how we set it up!

Weather forecast keeps changing. 3 days ago it was predicted that by coming Wednesday, out temps were supposed to be average for our area. That is not looking like it will happen. ALL I KNOW FOR SURE,,,,,, IT'S COLD, AND ITS SNOWING NOW

Your temps look like what our son is dealing with in Oklahoma. I hope it warms up for you soon & the snow goes away! Stay warm & safe!
