Awww, I remember the days when I would get bunches of eggs…. I’m getting maybe two a day
But happy for you and your beautiful eggs

Yeah, it's been a long dry spell around here for eggs. It's nice to be getting some again.
One day you'll be sharing eggs again!

The big egg was a double yolk. I'm not sure who laid it. I'm thinking one of the Aquila's or Black Sex Link.

I'm bringing in 6 or 7 eggs a day now.

One of my Welsummer girls is sick. I looked back at my post in the ER thread when Pearl was exhibiting the same symptoms. Her crop is completely empty and she weighs next to nothing. I already knew I would be treating with Corid, but couldn't remember the dosage. I also have fishmox, if the Corid doesn't seem to be working. I will set up my hospital cage in the garage and see if I can nurse her through this.

I'm pretty sure she hasn't started laying yet.

Aww, sorry about that… poor thing!
Almost all of mine were sick.. as you know. I didn’t do anything for them as I didn’t know what to do.. but all have pulled through
I lost Speck but she displayed different symptoms and she was unwell about two weeks before everyone else got sick. I think she may have had some type of reproductive issues.. I guess.. I really don’t know though…

Thank you. Yeah, I know you had a hard time getting everyone healthy. Sorry about speck. So glad they are doing better now.

I've dealt with these symptoms before. Hopefully the treatments will get her back on track. I'm going to cook her up some scrambled egg and see if she will eat that.
