Ok, well I think its awesome anyway!!

We had the little ones brooding in 2 kiddie pools, and it was getting waaaaaaay cramped in there. Now they have room to flap their wings, and run around. The chickies seem to love their new digs......

They are set up in our sunroom.

HOLY COW!! that looks great!! that is a huge brooder, how long do you plan on having the chickies in there before you put them outside? wasn't sure if that's the reason for the mansion size brooder. but it looks great and I am sure they are loving the extra running room. when we moved ours to a larger brooder, they were noticiably happier.

That really is GREAT!!!

Nice and big (HUGE). Your chicks will be happy and healthy with all that room.

I feel sorry for those that put huge numbers of chicks in
plastic tubs and wonder why they're chicks are picking on each other as they get bigger.

Good job - thanks for sharing.

What does your coop look like?

Thats a great idea! I liked your idea with the swimming pool and now I really like this one!

We're doing so much work on our property and I'm seriously thinking about adding a brooding house on our property, near the chicken coop. That way it would get them out of our house and into an inbetween place before they go into the coop.

Thanks guys for the positive feedback!!

I just had to share our awesome new brooder. We have to keep the chickies in there for another couple of weeks at least, we still have a TON of snow here.

We don't have a coop ready yet. They will be moving to an old shead on our property that we will fix up for them, while we are building them a coop. We want to build their coop out of lumber that we will have milled ourselves from trees on our property.

There are 32 of those guys in the brooder, and they are loving it....they are chasing each other around playing chicken tag, and some have started to try roosting. I love watching them.
