Our New Coop -Lots of Pictures

We are getting close to being done in these pictures. Window is mounted. Pop door is cut out!




I put wire in the floor (on the ground) and got a load of shavings and filled the floor.

? though... Since you used chicken wire on the run, is the coop itself completely closed at night so nothing can get in? Chicken wire will not stop some predators, and thats why I ask.

The only problem that we had was in the afternoon, the sun was still coming in too much on the west side.
So I hung shade cloth and now there is no problem with that.

Thank you very much! I wanted to use hardware cloth, but just could not fit it in the budget. Someone is always here so daytime in not a problem. At night they are locked in the hen house and even in between the rafter, we put wire. Plus the predator would have to climb 8 feet to get up there. I have a camera on the coop too, so if there is noise, there won't be for long.
