Nice job - The fact that you recycled is awesome. I wish I could have been so resourceful. The front door is my favorite. Very cute.

For the window/vent coverings, you might want to consider thick plexi on hinges or sliders. That way you'll still have natural light inside but it will be closed up in case of bad weather. I'm in MN and had to keep the hens inside on a couple of occasions when the weather was just too nasty to go outside. It would be sad to coop them up in the dark all day.

You might have too many birds for that coop size, especially in winter. But many make it work, especially when the birds spend most of their time outside. Your run looks nice. Are you going to cover the run with something? A solid surface will keep it drier, but you'll likely want *something* to keep the critters out.

I am planning on covering the run with a corrugated roof. So hopefully the chickens will have more sheltered space. Also I am planning to let them free range as much as possible.
