Our new coop

We built this over the summer. It has only one hen in it so far, but more are coming soon! I got a real kick out of people's coop names... we don't have a name yet. Thanks to Cezanne's Coop for inspiration

I cannot even begin to imagine how he made that roof trick happen. That's about the coolest thing I have seen here so far.

Here are a couple of inside shots. It's wired and insulated (in canada, cold winters). The trash can holds the feed

In the following one you can see the slide door. The wire leads outdoors so you can open their access to the run without entering the coop or the run

My father in law figured out the roof! It took some time but fortunately for me and my husband, he's very good at what he does

The little chicken looks so lonely in there!

That coop is ADORABLE!!!!!!!! My neighbor built a playhouse for his grandsons and he did that with the roof too, I was so amazed I asked him how he did it and now I can't remember.
