our new hot tub duck pond!

We were struggling with cracking kiddie pools and then I found the perfect "pond" on craig's list for FREE! The ducks love it and it makes me laugh!

Innovative, to say the least. I also like Miss Lydia's suggestion regarding the iced tea

Those are some beautiful ducks,what breeds are they? We have muskovies,saxonies,blue pied and some very colorful black cayugas with a nice rainbow sheen when seen under the sun.

I would be very interested to know how you decided to handle keeping the 'pond' clean.....emptying daily or filtration? We are looking for innovative ideas for our ducks, too. This is a really nice idea!

How did you end up keeping it clean? A friend is offering her old hot tub. I thought it would be great but my husband thinks it will be a pain.

We have just been draining it every week or two. It has been frozen over all winter so we hope to get it working better this year.

So cute to see ducks in hot tubs. Let the ducks also enjoy the feeling of pond in a hot tub. But there is winter now and we need to keep clean our denver hot tubs !!!!
