Our pet turkey has one swollen leg and won't walk far...

So we have a pet turkey, he is about a year old. His right leg has started to swell and he won't walk very far. He has always limped a little, we have limited his feedings, checked for bumble foot and don't see anything. Any suggestions??

What I can see is that it is a broad breasted turkey and leg and heart issues are often a problem as they get older. Sorry.
