Actually, my husband and I just looked at your windows and we both think you mistakenly installed them upside down. That slope piece you have the hinge attached to actually goes at the bottom of the window. It was originally designed like that to help the water drain away from the window. We have the same windows and hinges on our coop hung right side up and they open out only slightly. We did add a little would piece to each window to help them stay closed all the way when we want them closed all the way.
