our turkey has a white film over half of each eye...

is this common in turkeys? He is 5 YO and just noticed it...it looks papery and even looks like it could be peeled off..I googled it but found nothing.

Make sure that you are not looking at the nictitating membrane.

Sorry, I normally don't keep photos when the nictitating membrane is closed or I would post some examples.

It really sounds like you are seeing the nictitating membrane but whether it is normal and how it should be, we cannot guess without you posting photos of it. The photos need to be in focus for them to be of use.
