out of feed. had to go to pet store. please check these ingredients

my girls LOVE the leftovers from the parrots... especially those that feed them by throwing food out of the cage to watch the chickens eat it. One of my amazons will throw bread out of the cage in small chunks and they RUN from the other chicken to have it in peace. I guess for him it is like feeding the pigeons at the park.

Next time in a pinch you could even feed some wild bird seed, like a dove mix. To boost up the protein, you could add a bit of scrambled egg or some soaked dry cat food.
