any idea why a flock of African an chinese geese wont let a mated pair join flock .....4 ganders an 5 hens

Are these a new pair you are introducing? If not geese have like little click flocks and then they all free range together. But if new it takes time to introduce new geese to a flock.

For my flock its the same but thats swan geese thing and dont worry they will eventually join my brown africans did the same to my buffs

But how long do you have this pair and is this pair other goose breed other then african or chinese

When it´s not breeding season, mine hang around together. Breeding season comes and they separate into their groups and get quite picky about space. I´ve not had a problem about introducing adults, but then I´ve only done it out of breeding season, and I imagine it´s just about coming into the season for yours? They´ll get it sorted, I´m sure.
