This may seem silly,
But my broody hen is hatching chicks! I have always just gotten chicks from the store and raised them indoors until they were big enough to go to the coop. This is my first time hatching our own. I know chicks can get chilled easily, and I don't know if I need to monitor mama and baby chick coop water temp? It is spring here in northern Colorado and babies will be arriving around April 8th. That means temps will fluctuate from 70s-40s.
