Free range meaning coop at night yard in day. The Coop is predator proof. We have coyotes, racoons, Hawks, etc...
They look plenty old enough to be outside.
 
I didn't even see the free range part :oops: I don't let mine free range until they're 3 months or older and I have several places they can hide. Free range at our house is in an 8 foot fenced in area. I also have older chickens that show them the ropes.
I have no older chickens to teach them the ropes but I do have plenty of yard. Only problem is it's not fenced.
