Outside cat enclosure?

many cities either already have them or are considering them. others have laws that say a cat that defecates on another's property or in any way damages property can be immediately impounded.
Yes, but guns are illegal to use within city limits. Not the same as being impounded.
Either way I wasn't critisizing, I just found it ironic.

many inside the city limits use air soft or other similar pellet guns even though they are illegal in city limits as well. There isn't much in the way of noise and it's unlikely that you will get caught. And you can definitely kill something the size of a cat with one. Many state that you can dispatch a small coyote with one.
A lot of people don't realize that leash laws can frequently be applied to cats or some variation of other laws about roaming domestic animals.

I am going to look into this as my neighbor’s cat likes to poop exclusively in my front garden and now we have a mushroom problem (IDK if it’s relates to the cat pooping in our garden but we never had mushrooms until it started pooping in the garden).

I may be wrong since I'm using airsoft as generic for air gun. Probably bad since I don't know what calibers those go up to.

Ok first off, I myself am a hunter. There is no way you can kill a cat with an airsoft gun. Hurt it yes, kill it no.

There are high powered air rifles that shoot with a velocity equilivent to a .22 definitely could put down a small animal and are marketed for pest control and a way of getting around various firearms regulations.

Regardless of the reasons, the OP is looking for feedback for a cat enclosure.

Basically, build them a chicken coop with a tall run and plenty of shelves to sit on. My aunt has one that she calls catlandia. She used to live in a neighborhood where someone was poisoning cats. Plus there were injuries from fights and accidents with cars. Before catlandia, she had a very simple rectangular one that she gave me when she moved. We slapped wheels on it, installed roosts, and now it's our tractor/grow out pen.

I came on here to learn about chickens as haven't yet got any but I do know a little about cats. On the subject of where they are going to the toilet, when I was litter training I was told that as cats like to dig and bury the mess, a loose litter is best. does the area where you want them to go to the toilet have loose soil or is the bedding straw the only real diggable material? As someone else said, maybe towels for bedding and then move the straw to the toilet area?
