over active duckling bothering sibling

thank you very much! i will read up on it.

a sad update on the duckling, i was watching them they were all doing okay and i saw the weaker duckling eating normally when suddenly it collapsed in the bowl. it had seizures and was suddenly gone. it surprised me, im not sure what was wrong with it. it was okay this morning walking/running around the brooder. while it was a bit weak he didn't look sick like sick chicks i had in the past. No head shaking or anything, didn't look like he was in pain just slept a bit more. :(
So sorry for your loss. I don't think there is anything you could have done.

Very sorry about your duckling. How about a mirror in with them. Usually, if there are more than one they imprint on each other, but young ducklings are needy so if you're making sure they have plenty to eat and drink and they have a clean brooder leaving them to themselves at times is fine. Maybe one way to make them more relaxed is to have time outside, only needs to be 15 mins at tops, Just to give them time to wear themselves out. And they will have a blast. This is if you're having nice warm weather. And of course you are able to stay right there with them.
And of course, pictures of your little ones are always welcome.

I do give them alot of out time when i have free time but not outside yet. They have roamed around the house though. I think they do like each others company and are imprinted as they follow eachother around when exploring. But when they loose track of me they will start yelling. When go away just to fill their water up they start peeping. As my room is connected to the room their in, this might be a long night. They are such precious babies though.

I think they like a bigger creature’s protection even though they have eachother for company.
