I am keeping the top monitor roof open but making panels that can slide in and also block it off if needed.
I got caught up chilling with my daughters last night and I guess I never posted the update I wrote yesterday.
I have been at it since 7 this morning about 6 hrs fighting 30+mph I finished priming the bottom/stand and then put the first real color the coop (gray on the stand). I then removed the blocks and decided I did not need to move it as it will be fine where it's at.
I started attaching the sidding and just kept going 4x8 sheets in the wind was a whole new type of work out. I did all my cuts on the extra size and will be running the router along the edges to clean them up latter.
I also added siding to the nesting box. Still need to make a front plat and dividers for the boxes I have space for 3 boxes a little extra for 5 girls but liked the look better than 2.
Don't worry I am cutting 2 very large windows on each side. I have the frame made up for one and still thinking how I want to do them for the side away from the coop/run door.
Some how I forgot a cross brace for the bottoms of the monitor roof vent area ill have to add some before I put on the sidding then cut out the centers for the bad weather covers.
The wind was drying out my paint tray faster than I could use it today by the time I was done it was a thin paste. Maybe I was going to slow lol.
I may go work on it a little more latter today we will have to see how I feel lol.
