Over engineering a chicken coop

Curious, what is your soil type? 2' deep pilings are typically secure against even moderate winds, assuming the structure they support isn't overlarge and is reasonably weighty.
Hubby said 65+ on the winds and we got to looking and figure the chickens probably dug around the footings since they were allowed to get under the coop. Next coop we are going to concrete in.
 
So basically, your Hen House took winds not quite enough to qualify as a weak hurricane. It's still damned impressive. Can I suggest two bags of concrete on every leg, and make certain the holes are wider at the bottom than they are at the top.
