James, I am excited for you. Hope all yours turn out great. Katy I hope you have a good hatch too.
I love that black girl and I have few younger ones coming off that I will take photos of when they grow a bit. It is so hot here. I wish I could let them all out of their pens. They are working my flowers over.
I am hoping for one of the black Cockerels to really impress me too.
I sure am hoping the finished product is nice and very large. I will keep you all informed

Jody thanks and I hope your blacks do well for you. Imogene has a few pullets i need to go get myself.
I am praying again for a bit of relief from the heat. I lost a mottled pullet yesterday that was on the younger side and Had one blue I have put in a pen by herself and she seemed a little lack luster.
I may turn them out in the yard tomorrow if we don't get some rain. They are in the hottest pen and I have fans and frozen water bottles. they are fair fine until it gets over 100 with this humidity which makes it feel like 110.

We have been having horrible heat too! It did finally cool off last night and today is much better!
