Overly friendly pullets

These young 3 and a half month old hens, while adorable, have the means for Chaos.
They will demand to sit in your lap, be pet, peck at your glasses, shoes, clothes to get what they want and take adorable selfies. Yes, these pullets have learned how to use my iPhone camera.

Ohh!!! Adorable!!! My last batch of chicks were doing the same thing at that age! (Except for learning how to use my phone.) They've settled out some, though my favorite, Sarah, will still jump on my lap, peck and scratch me, then settle down as I pet her and either take a nap or preen. She's the best.

I do suggest that you discourage them from pecking you. They get more painful as they get older (and more demanding).

Looks like it might be an olive egger. I have a pullet that looks just like that one!

She is mostly a barred Cochin but she is a bit darker because her dad is about a forth or half silky.
