Overmating?

If you do give him away, give full disclosure on his aggression.
I will. Do you think he could be this way because they can’t free range. They have a huge coop&run but they can’t free range due to all the dogs and other wild animals around. Like do you think if he were to be able to free range that his aggression might go away?

no, not likely. If he’s attacking you frequently then I’d recommend permanent removal and a one way ticket to freezer camp. Of course, if you can give him away and the new owners are aware of his behavior, that would be another option. Aggressive roosters are not worth the hassle.

Nope.
Cock/erel behaviors have much to do with the keepers behaviors and knowledge/experience.
The relationship is tricky and must start right off the get go....preferably at 'hatch'.
How old is this bird?
Did you have since he was a chick?
How many other humans interact with the flock?
Each person builds a 'relationship' with the bird.

He will be 8 months old tomorrow. I got him along with 6 other chicks at tractor supply last July. The only people who go to the chicken coop are me and my mammaw but sometimes if me or my mammaw aren’t there to feed them my brother, dad, mom, pappaw, or uncle will help me out depending on who is available.
