Not the case if you have an injury...CALL THE DOCTOR, TELL THEM WHAT HAPPENED AND ASK IF YOU NEED A BOOSTER. Tetanus IS DEADLY, and VERY, VERY SERIOUS. Not something to play around with. The shot needs time to work--if you wait until you have symptoms, it will do little to no good.

Just go get a shot. It'll only take a minute and you will be o.k. Do you know what Tetanus does to you? Google it. And go see your doctor please.

If you get the tet shot get the lot number in case you develop one of the listed adverse reactions. You can not file with the national vaccine injury compensation program unless you have that lot number.Speedy healing!
