After about an hour of work, Telexticli had found all the owlets she could "Garron, find any?" and then she turned to Posha "Any dead? had to cull?"

"I found a few more." Garron sighed.

"I had to cull three that were in so much pain that it hurt to breathe..." Porsha shook her head as she worked on another chick.

Telexticil gently grabbed an owlet missing its wing, she stopped the bleeding and wrapped a bandage around its wing stump. you could see the anger in her eyes

"Sometimes, I think that I should have been a warrior." Garron said as he worked on a chick, "But then I think of how many birds are hurt in battles, and I realize that a Shaman is needed as much as warriors..."

"Can you smell that?"

"Yes, but I can't quite put my claw on what it is..." Porsha said, looking up from a chick.

Over the faint smell of blood and death a sweet sticky smell is floating through the hair, she reached her head down and sniffed an owlets wound
"Poison... GET OUT!" she yelled "They poisoned them!"

Porsha and Garron didn't have to be told twice, they flew away fast, heading for a river or something to wash off the poison.
