If you really want to pay out the nose for it, and not burn up a blender, then check out the bird department at PETSMART. They sell a 15.5 oz. box of the stuff that is a perfect size for coturnix...unless you have 3 pound coturnix
It's HAGEN, which is probably a "Private label" for them.
It costs me $2.99 for a 15.5 oz. box, and I feed it as directed, as a treat! Feeding extra calcium to coturnix will not hurt them, as long as you don't over saturate their feed with it. As JJ suggests, and per my limited experience, coturnix don't really need it in most cases. A good quality game bird feed should keep the eggs just popping out.
