I’m looking for ideas for what to use for feeding oyster shells in. Right now I’m using a plastic dog bowl and it’s just not working out. Either it’s getting turned over or wood chips getting kicked in it. So any ideas of something you made or purchased would be appreciated

I have a couple of small-but-heavy ceramic bowl. It looks like something used to feed mealworms to reptiles. I got them at a thrift store years ago, so I can't tell you exactly where to get one :(

We elevate them on bricks in the run, to minimize the amount of stuff that gets kicked in. Shavings still get in, but much less than when it's on the floor!

I used to use one of those long trough things that hangs on the chicken wire. It works, but it was way too long. My chickens don't need a yard of oysters at a time!

32oz salsa jar...ziptied to HC wall.
Make sure you smooth out the cut edges.
