so I have this bad habit of forgetting to put things down. I carry them off to other random places. Been looking for these two bags for a week. Found them today with all the dogs bedding for the outside kennel- really no idea how I managed that but I did. They were open and got rained in. Not sure if its ok to use them? I suppose the grit should be ok if I dry it first since it is just stone.. but what about the oyster shells> ?

Yes grit is inert and the oyster shell might as well be if it is not. So no problems in feeding either to your birds. Like noted above if the shell sticks just break it up like a bag of ice for the family cooler, any hard surface will do.

Best to you and your birds,

RJ
