I did not take him out of the wild. I purchased him as a kitten from a breeder in Minnesota.

am SO glad to hear that! It always breaks my heart when someone has to give up an animal they've, in good faith, cared for and saved from an ugly and painful death, only to be zapped by some law that, although well intentioned, has a backlash effect in cases like the ones I mentioned earlier. I hope you and T-Bone live long, healthy, happy lives! A friend of mine is a licensed rehabber in S. IL, but I was informed that KY will no longer license new rehabbers, will not train any, and is considering not renewing licenses which may be expiring. Apparently they'd rather "let nature take its course" than save any suffering animals...

sorry I fouled up the quote portion; am new to this message board! was trying to answer your reply when you said you'd had him for 8 yrs. and that you were licensed by the Ag. Dept. to keep him. Eventually I may get this right and become an pro like NiftyChicken or hynofroggiesteve, or others...

You have probably one of the COOLEST pets I have ever seen. Bobcats are majestic and smart as heck critters. We have them wild here in PA and they can be a real threat to the feathered friends lol
