Long hair = lots of grooming. Gotta make sure it's tangle free and kept groomed (daily is best). You also have to keep in mind the type of coat the guinea pig has (E.x. - The Abyssinian has rosettes all over their body and must be brushed in the direction the rosettes grow). You'll also need to make sure you purchase a wide-toothed comb. You may also hire a professional groomer (who has experience handling guinea pigs) to trim your guinea pig's long hair so it's kept off the ground (to prevent it from becoming matted and/or covered in urine or, in the summer, to make it feel cooler).

This is Two-Face. I've been baby-sitting her for my AG teacher since Thanksgiving (and I hope I can keep her

). She was born back in April. You can see the tufts of her fur which will become the rosettes. My AG teacher named her Two-Face because of her face having a golden color on one side & black on the other. I know she has some Abyssinian in her, but I'm not 100% sure she's a full Abyssinian. I'll have to wait until she's a little older and bigger to find out.

Alright guys help me, My three piggies refuse to like me. They will come up to me and take food or treats out of my hand but DO NOT TOUCH. I can't break them from this WILD attitude they have going on,

any suggestions? OMG, two of them have a birthday coming up on the 12th.. they will be 2 years old. CRAP are they to old to calm down?
