PA Farm Show 2011

2,400 entries by over 100 exhibitors is just outrageous. Not saying it is bad, but come on. My family and I have 16 birds entered between the 4 of us. 2,400 birds means some people have over 200 birds entered! I agree with there being a limit to number on entries per person. I saw on the map we are in where the food court was this year. That must be because of the number of entries. I spoke with one of the ladies at the complex this morning and she said she couldn't believe the number of birds entered. I'm just wondering how you prep 200 birds for show? It is going to take us all week to do 16!

Also, we are looking for black silkie hens, d'Uccles, and bantam Polish roos, if anyone has any to sell. Thanks!

Yep, it'll probably take me and my mother two weeks to wash our 30 birds as well! So are we in the huge food court? Or the smaller one that is by the smaller vendors? If one of our BYC members get on Champion Row, man thats gonna be an accomplishment!

Should be an just a little over an hour.

ETA: I've done that route, 83 north to 322 west, follow the signs to the farm show complex.

Does anyone know of anyone showing rabbits at the farm show? My house bunny died 6 months ago and I am finally ready to get another one. I was hoping to find a breeder or maybe evena bunny at the farm show. I am intrerested mainly in dwarf breeds as my last was a holland lop. May be interested in another HL, a Dwarf Hotot, maybe a Netherland Dwarf? I just really want one the is very friendly!

The show is so soon! I can hardly wait!

It looks like Sunday the 9th, since my DH has the honor of driving his DW and that is the only day we're both off

I am going to throw this out there, but does anyone have a Belgian Quail pullet they woudl sell............my poor Hercules is so lonely without a mate.................
