I plan to go to watch and look. I dont have anything to show at this point and am not sure that is something I want to do, but might somewhere down the road. lol, I might also be coaxed into a purchase if there are any birds for sale that "speak" to me.

Speaking of making purchases, I have a question or two. Does anyone have any suggestions on what day and time to get there for the best selection of sale birds? LOL, I wanna time it just right to see what I can see and have the best selection for purchases. Also, are there any rules about when birds can be removed from the show after being purchased?

You will LOVE this show!! :)

For the best / broadest selection of sale birds, I recommend FIRST thing Saturday morning. There will be birds available in the sale area as early as later Friday afternoon, so if you wait until Saturday you might miss out on some things, but all of the birds available for sale should be cooped into the sale area by Saturday morning.

Birds that you buy should be removed immediately. If you want to look around more after you buy and it's too hot to leave them in your car, we will zip tie the cage shut and put a SOLD sign on the cage. You will need to have a receipt to pick up your birds if you don't remove them at the time of sale. Also, my 4-H group will have cardboard transport boxes available for sale to anyone who forgets their crates, or wants to buy more birds than they have crates to transport them home in...

I'm coming!!! I should be bringing an ark full of sebbies to show.

Not alot of ameraucanas this year. :( Well, that are in good condition anyway.
Glad you're coming!!! And bringing lots of Sebbies!!! One day....one day, I tell you, I'll have me some of them Sebbies! LOL

Looks like we are headed North for the show. My daughter and I both think the world of Mr. Kutch. She will be bringing her BPR,s and her little blue orpington cockrel. Her showmanship bird looks absolutely terrible so I,m not sure if the OEGB wil be making the trip. She also wants to bring a PR lf for some reason now that she is done brooding the BLRW.
Not sure if it will just be Mariah and I or if I'll have other 4-H kids along. Hope to have more kids but will have to see.

We have only been to 1show , not sure what makes this a "double" show.
Another silly question, any waterfowl?

It will be like two shows in one. They will be judged once in the early morning, and then another time in the afternoon by a separate set of judges. So basically two separate shows blended into one.
