Pacific Northwest Poultry Association double show, Salem, OR Oct 13-14, 2012

Quote: She has left the WA thread and as of today it sounds like she may not beat the show.

I just checked and NO she doesn't have any for sale.

Chicken Rustler! Your new Avatar is AWESOME!!! SUPER PINK!!! Is the house chicken in there someplace with you guys and the dog?
Thanks.
For those who don't know October is breast cancer awareness month and pink is the color used to show support for such. Also I have had pink in my avatar for the last year to show my support of a good friend / former BYCer and for those I don't know as well.

And NO Pierre (the house chicken {Serama}) isn't in the pic. That was before his time.

So our best silkie pullet we entered of course went broody over the last couple days. I tried breaking but but after only 2 days broody her belly is already bare so its a lost hope
I hate silkies!!!.....

Well not really but they drive me crazy!
This is our first PNPA show and I can't get the catalog to print right now.
I am hoping someone can instruct me about how and if its possible to substitue a bird of a different color and sex since we don't have any other blue silkies....
The only thing is its a lavender cockeral so not a recognized color is that allowed at these type of shows as an AOV? probly a dumb question but I am just making sure before I try...
Lol

Just change your coop card when you get there. And yes, lavender is recognized in Silkies., but they refer to it as self blue.
