Pacific Northwest Poultry Association double show, Salem, OR Oct 13-14, 2012

I know we went around and counted all the birds (youth included) just to see how many there were. But I'd like to know the official number. I am pretty happy with my little sale birds I picked up. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get everything on my 'wish list' like silver ameraucanas, an araucana rooster, and some others. Maybe next year...

I would love to know what you came up with. I had heard that around 600 were entered. I don't know how many scratched. I know that I left 2 at home that I entered, and if everyone did that....that's a lot of no-shows...

I might have you keep her to Chehalis.  I'm going to try and talk my hubbie into letting me go......

Did you hear what the number count on the birds entered was?

I can't access the show catalog on my computer. Says I have to download a whole new Adobe program. I'm planning on going and entering my Frizzle, she shall win champion Featherleg.

I loved looking at all the beautiful birds. DH saw many he'd have liked to take home.

We didn't see anything in the sale area we were looking for. We were hoping for a few wheaten ameraucana chicks/pullets/hens. We knew that large fowl brahma weren't likely.

So I'm hoping we find something at Chehalis or Monroe.

It was great talking with you Chicken Rustler. DH is looking for the best spot for his bell. He really likes it.

He got the smaller un-painted one right? And it was so nice meeting both of you.

I was looking for her to see if she had any tufted araucana roosters for sale since we were over on that side of the mountains. We have been looking for a tufted rooster for ages and I really don't want to pay shipping.
