Packaging Eggs for Shipment

I've heard that wrapping eggs in bubble wrap/plastic will smother the embryos. Is this true?

They don't breath air until they Pip, around day 19 or 20.

Thank you to everyone who responded. I was so confused. I read on ebay auction sites that the bubble wrap killed the embryos, but I received eggs that were beautifully wrapped in bubble wrap from 2 people that I respect. We will be shipping out eggs soon, so I wanted to be sure. Thanks again!
