I got one box in the mail packed like that and not a single chick hatched. One egg was totally broken. The rest had broken air cells and when you candled it reminded me of a level where the little bubble moves back and forth. I was not happy and they were the most expensive eggs I had ever purchased.

I've recieved several hundred quail eggs packed in the foam with holes and got about a 75% hatch rate. Non were cracked or broken.

How I pack mine for my customers....another layer of bubble wrap will go over this whole thing then fill with paper..snugly not so tight. If they are tight and something whacks the box...busted eggs if they can give a little...they just wiggle away.all stay pointy side up.

My client emailed me today and said that two of the air cells are little wobbly and the rest looked like she got them out of her yard. Hope she hatches them all!
